Above the Clouds
I love hearing the Word. My pastor illustrated a very interesting perspective on trials and hardship in your life. It can be pictured as a storm. It's easy to get lost in it.
Unlike other birds, eagles have excellent vision. When a storm comes, birds usually hide for shelter, but not eagles. They soar above the clouds. However, not by their own power-they just spread their wings, and let the wind carry them up!
This is a way that we can deal with our own "storms." We are able to catch the wind and rise above, through prayer and petition, and inquiring of the LORD.

Thunderclap
Woke up at 4 am to the sound of a thunderclap. I hear a crackling explosive boom, followed by the panic of car alarms. It was pure chaos! The sound it made was so terrifying, I woke up thinking "is this the end of the world?" In the distance, more thunder claps could be heard, towards the west.
